As early as the 1600′s yellow ware was made in England and Scotland. 1830′s – 1940′s it was popular in the US using buff colored clay from the Ohio Valley. The buff colored clay was shipped from NJ where several CT potteries were established. We offer you a large selection of reproduction yellow ware.
